The development for formation of briquettes from coal is offered. In the nature the most of open-cast mines for coal production contain it powdery form. In this connection the application of mined coal in such form is complicated.
Large quantity of powdered coal is formed also during coal production (mining), processing, sorting, transportation and other technological operations.
The offered technology allows to obtain briquettes from a coal powder mined or received during it operation (exploitation) and transportation.
The technology is based on pressing of the mixture of powdered coal with polymer Naralex - SS applied as a coupling agent.
Polymer entered into a composition as a coupler is an ecologically clean material promoting burning of a briquette used as a fuel material, and also as a catalyst during some chemical processes.
Briquettes obtained from a powder can be applied as a fuel, and also as a constituent of chemical technological processes.
The characteristic of briquettes from coal:
Briquettes received by pressing with use of polymer are strong enough and their specific gravity makes
1.5 - 1.7g/cm3
Briquettes can be produced of various sizes, for example by the diameter from 50mm to 100mm and up to 150mm long.
